This will be an ongoing fundraiser.  Bricks will be done in batches and installed on the walkways near the entrance to the library.  Easy to order and your donation is tax deductible.

Support your library.  Fundraisers and donations to the Friends of the Library pay for over a dozen discount museum passes for your use and programs and entertainment for all ages.

BOOK DONATION DROP OFF

Next drop off date is Saturday, September 14th


On the Second Saturday of September and March the Friends gratefully accept donations of gently used, newer books, dvds and cds and books on cd from 9:00 am - Noon at the old Town Hall across from the library. 
Sorry, we cannot accept encyclopedias, textbooks, moldy or damaged books, magazines, condensed books or vhs videos.


Because of space limitations, the library cannot accept donations at any other time.  Please do not leave boxes outside the library.

Friends LogoThe Friends of the West Newbury Library is a volunteer, nonprofit, organization whose goal is to actively support G.A.R. Memorial Library in a variety of ways.  The group, which is open to all, raises funds to support library programming and improvements through its book sales and other activities.  It also seeks to create interest in and awareness of the library's services and its needs through outreach to the community.  The group aims to enrich the cultural life of West Newbury by sponsoring cultural and educational programs.

The Friends of the West Newbury Library have partnered with the TD Bank to raise funds that support various programs at the G.A.R. Memorial Library
Here's how it works:  TD Bank Affinity Program          Affinity Code for the Friends = AF147


TD Bank will make a donation of $50 for each new checking account to the Friends of the West Newbury Library when you open deposit accounts OR $10 if you designate your existing accounts for inclusion in the TD Bank Affinity Program.

Information regarding all participating Customer accounts (e.g. account balance and owners) is kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with the Friends of the Library.

Please consider The Affinity Program next time you have some banking to do.  It is easy and it helps the Friends continue funding the many programs available to our patrons
